Team Build Day
HonoLULU HABITAT TEAM BUILD DAYS
Thank you for interest in a Team Build Day supporting our partner families and our affordable housing mission. Our Volunteer Coordinator will be help coordinate with your team providing the address for our build site, parking information, begin/start times, tasked schedule to be completed and other logistical information.
We pride ourselves in making your volunteer experience meaningful, educational and fun. As we say, a build day is our mission in action. Beyond anything, we want you to enjoy the experience, get to know the families with whom we are building the home and our incredible Construction Staff.
Our Construction Staff supervises the build site and develops a build schedule in advance of your day making sure you will have all the tools, materials and supervision to have a safe and productive build day. Work days are often contingent on the weather conditions. If the weather is disagreeable, our Construction Site Supervisor will determine if certain tasks will need to be delayed.
We work hard to find lunch sponsors and our Volunteer Coordinator will let you know if we will be able to provide lunch. If your team would like to provide lunch, please let our Volunteer Coordinator know.

Volunteer Shift Hours:
Full Day Shift 8:30am-4:00pm
*Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your shift *
Build Site Requirements:
Closed Toed Shoes must be worn
Sunscreen, bug spray & reusable water bottle
Clothing & Shoes you don’t mind getting dirty or muddy
