In partnership with the Department of Hawaiian Homelands, Honolulu Habitat has built 9 homes at this subdivision since 2018, housing 44 individuals. One additional Home Build is planned for 2025, housing 3 individuals. 

In December 2014, Honolulu Habitat in partnership with the Department of Hawaiian Homelands (DHHL) completed five homes with Native Hawaiian families. The location of the homes were in a newly developed subdivision in Waimanalo and within close proximity on the same cul-de-sac. Funding for the project was made possible through DHHL’s NAHASDA funding. The homes housed a total of 25 individuals including 13 children.
