Location: Oahu, HI
Time commitment: 2 days per month; 1-2 hours per shift
Description: Good behind the camera? Help capture high resolution, person-forward images of construction volunteers and homeowners on the build site.

Committees

Join one of the behind-the-scenes teams that make Honolulu Habitat run! We are currently looking for people to serve on the following committees.

Build Committee

Help provide oversight and assistance to the affiliate on its planned and current construction/rehab/repair work. This may include site selection, construction policy and procedures, procurement, contracting, budgeting, scheduling, site safety and any specific construction related issues that may arise. Family Selection Committee

This committee is responsible for assessing the Home Build and Home Preservation applications of prospective partner families. Members assist in identifying potential partner families, counseling families on HHH programs, reviewing relevant financial information, conducting site visits of families’ current residence. In addition, the committee advises the HHH Board of Directors and Executive Director

Finance Committee

Are you a numbers person? Our Finance Committee ensures our organization is financially strong and able to meet financial obligations. This group also leads financial planning for current operations and future growth.

Resource Development

If you are a marketing professional, designer, PR specialist or fundraiser looking to give back your skills, the HHH Resource Development Committee may be the place for you. We are looking for individuals who can commit to attending six (6) meetings a year and give energy to brainstorming, implementing, and leveraging relationships for affiliate campaigns and special events.

Faith Relations

This Committee provides an active link between Honolulu Habitat and the local faith leaders in order to mutually achieve mission goals.
