Construction site supervisor
Short Description: This position is responsible for site supervision of new home construction and home preservation projects. Such management may include but may not be limited to: supervision of all personnel on the job site, providing a safe work site, executing the construction activities of the affiliate to meet the quality, cost and scheduled goals, and various other items performed by HHH from time to time. This includes the supervision and scheduling of subcontractors, material deliveries, leading and teaching volunteers on site, and supervision while on-site of AmeriCorps Service Member(s). Americorps - Construction Crew Leader
Short Description: Construction crew leaders play an integral part in building and repairing more homes, leading to better neighborhoods and communities. As a construction crew leader, you will lead and develop groups of skilled and unskilled volunteers and homeowner families in construction activities all while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. Using volunteer management techniques, you will manage volunteers and homeowner families as they assist in the building of new homes and/or repairing existing homes or completing weatherization projects. Together, you will perform hands-on construction tasks including, but not limited to, demolition, framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, roofing, finish carpentry and landscaping.
