Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, community and hope. Our vision is an island – and a world – where everyone has a decent place to live.
Our Approach
No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day. We deserve to be self-reliant and to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures.

Our Impact
Founded in 1988 as an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Honolulu Habitat has served more than 450 individuals across Oʻahu through new home construction and critical home repairs. We rally thousands of volunteers every year to become part of the solution to Hawaii's affordable housing crisis.
