Donation Guidelines

Appliances
Items 5 years old or less in good working order with no repairs, including dishwashers; ranges; washer/dryers; ovens; refrigerators; range hoods; microwave ovens
Cabinets/Countertops
Acceptance based on show room space availability. We only accept full kitchen and bathroom cabinets in good condition with all doors and drawers. No built-in cabinets. Countertops must be in good condition with minimal chips or damage (no holes).
Doors
New and used in good condition, if inventory levels allow. No cracks or rot or glass missing. Pre-hung or door slabs; exterior or interior; entryway units; sliding glass must have all tracking and no cracked or foggy glass.
Electrical
Useable fixtures, parts and supplies.
Fans
Must be working, fully intact, and in good condition.
Flooring Materials
We accept sheet vinyl (rolled and taped), vinyl tile, ceramic tile, and wood flooring. Material must be undamaged, free of rot, and in usable quantities of 25 square feet or more.
Furniture
Must be in good condition with no rips, tears, stains, or rust. Must be structurally sound. No mattresses.
Gutters
New gutter material only. Full pieces with no rust or damage.
Hardware
For doors, cabinets, etc., free of rust and not broken. Any quantity of nails, screw hangers, connectors, etc.
Insulation
New insulation only. Must be in packaging.
Landscaping
Patio and paving stone, and bricks. No cracked or broken pieces.
Lighting
Must be complete and in good to excellent condition. No fluorescent lights or can lights.
Lumber
We accept plywood (full sheets only), full lengths of milled lumber, and trim (minimum of 5 feet in length). Must be free of rot and insects.
Mirrors
Must be intact and framed or have attached mounting brackets.
Paint
New full unopened latex or stain 1 gal/5 gal only. No oil based paint.
Pipe/PVC/Metal/Copper
Five foot lengths (or more) of any type of pipe supplies and fittings.
Plumbing

Drop-in sinks mostly, only a few underneath mount will be accepted based on inventory/need – no rust.

Any plumbing hardware which is complete

Toilets. All must be UNUSED and in GOOD working condition. Quantity accepted is based on inventory levels.

Bathtubs – Fiberglass, cast iron, steel, claw foot
Roofing
New material only. Limited number of full bundles of shingles and roll roofing will be accepted based on space available. Full pieces with no rust or damage.
Sheet Rock (Drywall, Wallboard)
Full (8’) or half (4’) sheets in good condition. 10 and 12 foot sheets if space is available.
Siding
Full lengths, free of rot and insects. Vinyl or aluminum must come in full boxes only.
Storm Windows and Doors
Must come with all windows and screens and all tracking or framing.
Tile
We accept undamaged tile in useable quantities of 25 square feet or more.
Tools
Hand, garden or power tools in working condition. We will sell as is, or use on our own build sites.
Vents (Floor, Ceiling, and Return)
Clean and in good condition.
Wallpaper
Full, unopened rolls of wall covering/paper.
Windows/Screens
All windows must be inspected before acceptance. Must be in good condition, glass intact. Wooden window frames must be free from rot. Must be in complete units.
