If you or someone you know is living in a home that is in serious need of repair and needs a simple, decent home please come to one of our Information Sessions. Your attendance at the Information Sessions is your first mandatory step in becoming a partner family. Habitat homes are sold, not given, to approved homeowner applicants. Homeowners pay low, no-interest monthly mortgage payments toward the full ownership of their homes. Moving into and owning a Honolulu Habitat home improves the quality of life for its residents, not only in the physical surroundings but also by instilling a sense of pride and responsibility that comes with home ownership. Honolulu Habitat for Humanity helps families who cannot afford a traditional mortgage build their own home.
