Adopt-a-Day Work Group Volunteers
Our Adopt-a-Days are a great way to double your support of Honolulu Habitat for Humanity. Bring your work partners, church group, friends, or club members and work together for a day to help a family in need build their house and make a donation to Honolulu Habitat for Humanity. All Adopt-a-Day contributions go towards supporting Honolulu Habitat for Humanity’s ongoing building campaign, and will help Honolulu Habitat continue in its mission of providing decent and affordable homes for families in need.
Honolulu Habitat for Humanity Adopt-a-Day’s are easy to organize! Here's how it works:

Schedule a day for your group with the Honolulu Habitat Office by calling 538-7070
Make a donation from your business, organization, or individual participants (each Adopt-a-Day group also has the option to raise pledges from friends and family members) two (2) weeks before your Adopt-a-Day. Checks should be made payable to Honolulu Habitat for Humanity.
Come to the work site for an exciting day of building homes and feel good about the double service you provided toward making a family's dream a reality.

Group Sizes:                       10 – 15 people
Time:                                   8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Lunch:                                  Provided by Honolulu Habitat for Humanity

Skill Level: No specific skill is necessary. If your crew has specific skills, please inform theVolunteer Coordinator when making arrangements for your group. Your group will work under skilled leadership of our site supervisors on one of our houses in progress. No experience required - just the willingness to use a hammer!

Adopt-a-Day Levels of Participation-

$75 Per Person: Lunch and priority date placement.

$1,000 Per Team: Organization banner onsite during the day (provided by the organization),recognition on the Honolulu Habitat website, lunch and priority date placement.

$2, 000 Per Team: Press Release to media outlets, T-shirts or hats (based on availability), acknowledgement in annual volunteer celebration, organization banner onsite during the day (provided by the organization), recognition on the Honolulu Habitat website, lunch and priority date placement
*All Adopt-a-Day contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law
